SERVING THE ALUMINA REFINERY PROCESS
The Bayer process refinery converts bauxite ore into aluminium oxide (alumina) through a sequence of high-temperature, high-pressure, caustic-chemical process steps. The hydraulic, lubrication and bearing equipment at each stage must withstand hot caustic liquor exposure, abrasive slurry contact, high ambient temperatures and continuous 24/7 duty.
