ABOUT POCLAIN HYDRAULICS
Poclain Hydraulics was founded in 1985 in Verberie, France, growing out of the heritage of the Poclain construction-machinery group. The company is the global specialist in cam-lobe radial-piston hydraulic motors — a low-speed, high-torque (LSHT) motor architecture that delivers direct-drive performance unmatched by axial-piston or gear motors in the same envelope.
Poclain motors are the chosen technology for direct-drive wheels on agricultural and construction machinery, winch drives, wheel motors on rail and industrial vehicles, and low-speed high-torque industrial drives where eliminating a gearbox is the right engineering decision. WHY CAM-LOBE LSHT MOTORS
A cam-lobe radial-piston motor produces high torque at low rotational speed — directly. No reduction gearbox required.
