Hydraulic cylinders are often the most punished component in a hydraulic system — exposed to shock loads, contamination, side loads, temperature extremes, and the abrasive environments of steel and aluminium plants.
U3S Engitech manufactures cylinders matched precisely to those duty conditions. Our cylinders are operating today on furnace tilting at AIFL and ThyssenKrupp installations, lime kilns at Jindal Steel & Power, ICB applications at NALCO pot lines, and stack-cap valve controllers at Tata Steel.
Every cylinder is built with traceable materials, pressure-tested to specification, and supplied with a documentation pack covering material certificates, test reports, and installation drawings.

Range
Five Cylinder Configurations
Tie-Rod Cylinders
ISO standard construction with end caps held by tie rods. Cost-effective, easily serviceable, suitable for medium-pressure industrial duty.
Mill-Type Cylinders
Heavy-duty welded body construction. Designed for high-pressure mill duty — steel mills, presses, heavy machinery. Field-proven on furnace tilting and stack-cap applications.
Telescopic Cylinders
Multi-stage extension for long-stroke applications in compact retracted form. Used on tipping, lifting, and material-handling equipment.
Plunger Cylinders
Single-acting design — push only. Simple, robust construction for press, jacking, and lifting applications.
Special-Duty Cylinders
High-temperature, corrosive-media, or non-standard envelope cylinders. Designed and built per specific customer environment.
